Award-Winning Artists Announced for Contemporary Art Event "100/10 Exhibition 2024/25"

TRiCERA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tai Iguchi; hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), aiming to expand the market for contemporary art, is pleased to announce the award-winning artists of the contemporary art event "100/10 Exhibition 2024/25," held from January 11th (Saturday) to 15th (Wednesday), 2025.

"100/10 Exhibition" Award-Winning Artists Announced

The "100/10 Exhibition" was launched as a new form of competition designed to connect artists with their buyers, with the goal of "revitalizing the art market." We are delighted that five corporate sponsors and one individual, who share our concept, have selected the award-winning artists. They will have the option to collaborate on projects with the selected artists if desired.

DNP Art Communications Co., Ltd.

Artist: Toru Nakamura

Artwork: INSIDE/life04

(Selection Comment): The bright, pop-like colors and characteristic "eyes" abstractly express inner feelings and thoughts. It's a work that would bring a simple feeling of energy when displayed in a room. We also resonate with its unique graphical style using vivid colors.

Artist: Mari Komuro

Artwork: Sewing

(Selection Comment): The way it is sewn together, rather than mended with Kintsugi, is very intriguing. I found it very interesting, and after looking at the artist's Instagram, I was drawn to the series of works that are connected, which sparked a desire to collect them. I want to see more of her work.

Artist: Yuta Okuda

Artist: Haruna Shikata

Artwork: Overwrite 12.1

(Selection Comment): The concept and method of expression are very well matched. The numerous layers and textures when viewed up close strongly convey the concept of "overwrite." The work is also a unique abstract painting not often seen elsewhere. The pink and green stood out in the venue.

Credit Saison Co., Ltd.

Artist: Ryo Saito

Artwork: Recoa “Let’s meet where there is no darkness”

(Selection Comment): The natural curves of the wood grain and the curves of the artwork itself are beautiful and eye-catching. The piece was carved from a forked log, and the complex grain of the forked part conveys the strength and beauty of the wood's desire to live.

Maruni Corporation Co., Ltd.

Artist: Ai Funaki

Artwork: Mylife

(Selection Comment): The character had a strong impact and was the first thing that caught my eye.

Shizuoka Bank, Ltd.

Artist: NAGMO

Artwork: Girl (Cherry)

(Selection Comment): My first impression was of pop graphics, but the more I looked at it, the more I felt a deep worldview like that of a sculpture. It is a simple yet softly colored work, and I was selected because I felt it was a heart-touching piece of art that directly conveys emotions through its expressions and poses, not just visual beauty.
